Money, money, money
Hi folks! This update has a focus on Finance, Capital Markets and Funds. Also, we’re highlighting the very comprehensive seminar programme that Linklaters are rolling out in the autumn. Read on!
- How to Raise a Fund. Gather your Limited Partners and go listen to Osborne Clarke on 26 September (08.30 - 11.00), they’ll set you straight. What investors want and how to find them; commercial and legal terms; Brexit. It’s all there. Go.
- If Equity Capital Markets are more your thing, head over to Reed Smith for their Breakfast Seminar (26 September, 08.30 - 09.30).The event has a Political focus (yes, Brexit again), with guest speakers from the Financial Times and Credit Suisse.
- Hungry for FinTech, FS or Payments? Try DLA’s Payments Forum for Corporate Counsel (5 October, 09.00 - 11.00). The EU Payments Regulation will be the main course, with a side GDPR, IFR and PSD2. Yum.
- Not yum? Supply Chain Financing, R&P, and factoring more your bag? Why, it’s Mayer Brown’s **Supply Chain Financing and Working Capital **seminar for you (10 October, 14.00-17.00). Now for the third year running, but the first outside of New York.
If all the above feels a bit niche, then ponder upon the breadth of Linklaters’ **Autumn Seminar Series. Crafty will be diarising their event on on the Myths and Realities of a Cyber Attack on 26 September (08.45 - 10.30). Don’t forget to check back at Bernice Dunsmuir’s [Guest Post](http://craftycounsel.org/2017/06/28/linklaters-guest-post/) on how Linklaters assembled this Seminar Series! And finally, it wouldn’t be a Crafty Counsel post without a GDPR event. So here come the Law Society: an event specifically on how In House Counsel can prepare for the GDPR (26 October, 17.30 - 20.30). There will be no excuses come March 2018! Folks - Crafty is working on some special content for next month. It will be all change around here. So forgive us if postings are somewhat more intermittent than usual, and don’t forget to keep checking out the [Events**](http://craftycounsel.org/events-calendar/) page. And look out for exciting developments in October! Crafty
