FAQs about Crafty Counsel

Events

Where is the events calendar?

You can view the full calendar on our Events page.

How can I get tickets to your latest events? I’m not in the Community.

Our in-person events are open to anyone working in-house, whether they’re in the Community or not (…yet). You can find the full calendar with information on how to get tickets on our Events page. We also run a number of monthly virtual meet-ups for members of our Community. You’d be welcome to join the Community for free.

I saw you have {x} event coming up, I’d like to learn more about sponsoring it.

Great! We’d love to learn more about how we can work together. To learn more about our current opportunities reach out to our Partnerships team via the Contact Us page.

Who can join your community?
The Crafty Counsel Community is open to all in-house legal professionals. That includes: paralegal, legal operations, trainee, data protection, compliance, risk, company secretary.

It is free to join the Community, and this will give you access to our Community Hub (chat room, resources, recommendations, and more), a calendar of virtual meetups and in-person dinner events. However, our day-long conferences are paid for.

I heard you had a chat room or message board for in-house legal. Where is that?

You heard correctly! We not only have a chat room for in-house legal, but it’s part of our Community Hub which also has a directory of members, peer recommendations, and a library of resources. To gain access to the Community Hub, join the Community.

I moved back into private practice, can I still be a member of the Crafty Counsel Community?

Unfortunately, the Crafty Counsel Community is only for in-house legal professionals. However, we host a quarterly virtual meeting for the wider legal ecosystem called Crafty Innovates which you can register for via the Events calendar.

How do I join the Community?

It’s super easy! Just fill out our registration form, we’ll review your application (to make sure you’re in-house), and then you’ll receive a welcome email granting you access to the Community Hub.

I used to be in the Community, but I’ve changed jobs and lost my details. How can I get access again?

Not to worry, the easiest way to get access to the Community Hub again is to drop us an email on community@craftycounsel.co.uk.
