Barbara is joined by Sean Thomas and Rob Booth to interrogate what General Counsel can do to drive change. As Sean says: “There’s constant change, but you need to also be looking at the big picture. For the legal function, there’s a major role for all of us to play in anticipating and managing change.”
The team discuss some of the academic thinking behind change programmes, while acknowledging the need to translate the message appropriately for the audience. Barbara, Rob and Sean also discuss why crisis is a gift (“unless you caused it”!), and how the legal team can use it as an opportunity to foster a cultural and process change in their organisation.
