Our final episode turns to behavioural, cultural and psychological aspects of whistleblowing. Wendy is joined by Dr Elizabeth Luminati, Consultant and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist at Public Interest Pyschology, and Deborah Thomas, Head of Risk at Collinson Group. The panel discuss group-think, the sense of betrayal on the part of both whistleblower and his/her colleagues, and how to cultivate an open culture.

“You start questioning yourself… were my motives good? Nothing will ever make you feel so lonely as not having that support.”

“Being able to raise small issues as they arise stops the much larger cases – the huge corporate scandals.”
