Kate Fazio is Head of Innovation & Engagement at Justice Connect in Australia, where one of her roles has been to supervise the roll-out of a technology platform connecting NGOs and individuals with a panel of 169 law firms. Their pro bono portal has seen dramatic increase in usage during the Australian bush fires and, more recently, the COVID-19 crisis; its data offers an insight into the way that the public is impacted by such disasters; and the team are exploring ways of rolling out the portal with international partners.
